Remediation of asbestos from electrical and heating components through the confined area method, in collaboration with CIMA Riparazioni Ferroviarie for the restoration of trains.
These two trains, now abandoned for some time, destined to become info-points on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Cortina, had numerous components of the electrical and heating systems made up of asbestos.
Our task was to carry out an in-depth mapping of the MCAs and FAVs (Artificial Glass Fibres) and the remediation of the former with the confined area method in a dynamic regime.
The operations were carried out at CIMA Riparazioni Ferroviarie S.r.l. who took care of the remaining restoration work.
